Rebels Abduct, Kill 22 From Refugee Camp

Lord’s Resistance Army rebels abducted and killed at least 22 people from a camp for villagers displaced by northern Uganda’s 18-year-old civil war, the army and aid workers said.
About 1.5 million people have fled the fighting between government troops and the Lord’s Resistance Army and live in squalid camps in the East African nation. The rebels, who say they aim to overthrow President Yoweri Museveni, routinely target unarmed civilians.
