Toll road extension -- A news brief in some editions of Tuesday’s California section reported that an environmental impact statement examined 10 proposed extensions of Orange County’s toll roads. In fact, there are 10 alternative traffic-improvement plans for one toll road, the Foothill-Eastern tollway in southern Orange County. The alternatives include six plans that would involve building an extension and four that would not. At most, one extension would be built.
The filing period ends Aug. 6.
