Towns Stop Licensing Nonresident Gay Pairs

Three Massachusetts towns stopped issuing marriage licenses to out-of-state gay couples under orders from the state’s attorney general.
Worcester, Springfield and Somerville said they will now approve applications only from gay couples who live in the state or say they intend to move there.
