Holiday closures
Monday is Memorial Day. The following schedule will be in effect in observance of the holiday:
Offices: All city, county, state and federal offices and courts will be closed.
Mail: There will be no mail delivery and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most libraries will be closed.
Banks: Most banking institutions will be closed.
Schools: Public schools will be closed.
Public transportation: MTA buses and Metro Rail lines will provide Sunday-schedule service. Metrolink trains will not operate.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles will maintain regular pickup schedules.
