Motorcyclist Slides Into Pickup Truck, Is Killed

An Anaheim motorcyclist was killed Tuesday morning on the Orange Freeway, the California Highway Patrol said.
Edward C. Davis II, 32, was in the southbound carpool lane near Chapman Avenue about 6:30 a.m. when his motorcycle fell on its side and slid into a pickup that had slowed for traffic, said CHP Officer Ken Yoon.
The truck driver, Timothy Timora, 21, of Pomona, was not injured, officials said.
