Las Vegas Monorail Loses Wheel, Is Halted

The Las Vegas Monorail was shut down after a mechanical problem caused a wheel to come off one of the cars, a company spokesman said.
The incident happened about 8 a.m. as a train traveled north toward the Las Vegas Convention Center, spokesman Todd Walker said. Nobody on the train was hurt, he said.
