IBM, Boeing to Partner on Technology Projects

IBM Corp. and Boeing Co. have formed a 10-year alliance to work together on developing ground and space-based systems for military communications and homeland security, to better tap into an estimated $200-billion market, the companies said.
The partnership has not yet signed any contracts with the government.
Shares of IBM fell 4 cents to $85.70, and Boeing shares fell 41 cents to $54.74, both on the NYSE.
