Cellphones ring Spacey’s bell

Kevin Spacey has lost his patience with British theater audiences -- it’s time to turn off the mobile phones and stop rustling candy wrappers. “It’s a phone-free zone,” the Oscar-winning actor said of the Old Vic, the venerable London theater where he is artistic director. “My feeling is, if people don’t know how to behave they shouldn’t come,” Spacey told BBC Radio. “You have to respect the fact that there is some degree of behavior that we expect in the theater.”
