Man Intended to Appear Murdered, Police Say

A man who died in a car bombing outside the Opryland resort in July killed himself and tried to make it look like murder so his family could collect his life insurance, Nashville police said.
William Young’s SUV exploded July 20 half a mile from the main entrance to Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center, Nashville’s largest hotel. Police said Young, 43, had detonated a pipe bomb.
