Salvadoran Leader Seeks Legalization of Migrants

Salvadoran President Tony Saca on Saturday urged the United States to grant permanent legal status to immigrants from that country so they can keep sending money to relatives still trying to rebuild after devastating earthquakes in 2001.
“We should fight for legalization for those who find themselves in unique situations in the United States,” Saca said.
