Woman Is Injured in Car-to-Car Shooting

A female motorist was shot by someone in another car on the Foothill Freeway about 10 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
The eastbound lanes were closed while officers investigated the shooting, which occurred near the Mount Olive Drive offramp, said California Highway Patrol Officer Alex Gonzalez.
The woman, whose name was not released, was airlifted to a hospital, Gonzalez said. Her condition was not disclosed.
