U.S. Official Says He Hopes for Progress Soon
From Times Wire Reports
A U.S. envoy held his longest meeting yet with his North Korean counterpart and said he hoped they would soon be able to draft a document signaling progress in six-nation talks in Beijing, which seek to curb the North’s nuclear weapons program.
U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill and others have stressed that they do not expect any breakthroughs.
