U.S. Veterans Mark Battle of Iwo Jima

Aging U.S. veterans converged on the island of Iwo Jima to mark the 60th anniversary of one of the deadliest battles of World War II.
The few dozen old warriors, many in uniform, arrived for ceremonies today. Nearly a month of fighting that began Feb. 19, 1945, killed nearly 7,000 Americans and more than 20,000 Japanese.
