Teenage Girl Held in Father’s Fatal Shooting
From Times Wire Reports
Authorities have arrested a 14-year-old girl in Boulder on suspicion of manslaughter, saying they believe she was involved in the death of her father.
The girl said her father, 56, unsuccessfully tried to kill himself, so she shot him to “put him out of his misery,” Boulder County sheriff’s Lt. Phil West said. He said inconsistencies in her story and the initial investigation led them to arrest the girl. No names were released.
