Complaining Won’t Fix Dairy Farm Problems
Shame on the dairy farmers (“Mud Is Spoiling Milk Production in Region,” Feb. 25). They are complaining about the millions of dollars that they are losing because the rains cause damage to their farms and ultimately the death of those abused cows.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that every year between October and February it rains in California. This is nothing new.
Instead of complaining, why don’t farmers put barns up for those poor cows or perhaps clean out the “muck” before the rainy months?
