PepsiCo North America Unit Chief to Leave

PepsiCo Inc. said the head of its North American division was resigning to “pursue new career opportunities.”
Gary M. Rodkin, 52, had held the posts of chairman and chief executive at the division since 2002.
PepsiCo promoted two executives to succeed Rodkin. Dawn Hudson, 47, will be chief executive of Pepsi-Cola North America. John C. Compton, 43, was named president and chief executive of the company’s QTG unit, which includes the Quaker Foods and Tropicana/Gatorade divisions in the United States and Canada.
