Holiday closures
Today is Memorial Day. The following schedule will be in effect:

Los Angeles County
Schools: Public schools will be closed.
Public transportation: MTA buses and Metro Rail lines will operate on a Sunday schedule. Metrolink trains will not operate.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Mail: There will be no delivery, and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: Most will be closed.
Trash collection: The city of Los Angeles will maintain regular pickup schedules.
Government: City, county, state and federal offices and courts will be closed.
Riverside County
Schools: No classes will be held at public schools, UC Riverside, Riverside Community College, College of the Desert, Mt. San Jacinto College or Palo Verde College.
Public transportation: The Riverside Transit Agency buses will provide limited service, the Sunline Transit Agency and most city transportation services will run on a normal schedule, and Metrolink trains will not run. Information: (800) 371-LINK.

San Bernardino County
Schools: No classes will be held at public schools, community colleges, Cal State San Bernardino or University of Redlands.
Public transportation: Omnitrans and Victorville Transit will not run.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Mail: There will be no delivery, and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: County and most city facilities will be closed.
Trash collection: Trash will be collected one day late.
Government: City, county and federal offices and courts will be closed.
