Music school gets $40.6 million
The Indiana University School of Music has received a $40.6-million gift from the late David H. Jacobs and his wife, Barbara Jacobs, of Cleveland.
It is the largest gift for a school of music at a public university, according to the university. In recognition, the school will be named the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
