Calm down
Regarding Mick Farren’s Nov. 28 article (Opinion), which describes all these past and present ubiquitous fears to be panic driven, he must be referring to his brethren in the writing and musical arenas.
Cold War fears, terrorism fears, earthquake fears and more are described as trepidations, although having lived through these past eras, and the present one, I have never met one person filled with panic. The only people attempting to instill and disseminate panic are our politicians.
Logically analyzing a situation and deciding a course of action to take, or not take, is not synonymous with some emotional panic.
