Florida 15, at Philadelphia 2: Miguel Cabrera drove in three runs with a home run and two doubles for the Marlins, whose Josh Johnson (9-5) gave up one run and five hits. The 22-year-old rookie struck out eight and lowered his National League-best earned-run average to 2.52. Jeremy Hermida hit a three-run homer, and Miguel Olivo and Dan Uggla each added two-run homers for the Marlins, whose three-game losing streak came to an end.

at Colorado 4, Milwaukee 2: Aaron Cook won for the first time in a month and Garrett Atkins and Matt Holliday hit back-to-back homers in the third inning for the Rockies, who won consecutive games for the first time since a four-game sweep at Washington on June 12 through 15.
