Fire Destroys 8 Cars in Parking Structure
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
Eight cars were destroyed by a fire Thursday afternoon in a parking structure at Fox Hills Mall, firefighters said.
The cars were parked side by side on the top level of the parking structure to the rear of the mall when they burst into flames about 3:50 p.m., said Culver City Fire Chief Jeff Eastman.
“The smoke could be seen a long way away,” he said. Firefighters put out the blaze. The cause is under investigation.
