Robbers Hit Same Bank Before, Suspect Says

Two bank robbers whose botched heist near Walt Disney World turned into a hostage standoff had robbed the same bank in November, the surviving suspect told investigators.
Amanda Lynn Moeller, 26, confessed to a Nov. 16 armed robbery of the Mercantile Bank, investigators said.
This week’s attempt turned into a 10-hour standoff with police.
Moeller’s accomplice, Gaetano Alessandrello, 50, was killed by a police sniper after he threatened to kill himself and a hostage, Sheriff Bob Hansell said in Kissimmee.
