Holiday closures
The following schedule will be in effect Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday:
Government: All county and federal offices and courts will be closed. Many city offices will be closed.
Mail: There will be no delivery and post offices will be closed.
Libraries: County and most city libraries will be closed.
Banks: Most will be closed.
Schools: Public schools, community colleges, UC Irvine, Cal State Fullerton, and Chapman University will be closed.
Public transportation: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on normal schedules. Metrolink trains will operate on a reduced schedule. For more information: (800) 371-LINK or www.metrolinktrains.com.
Trash collection: Trash will be collected on normal schedule.
