Ex-Premier, Husband Sought by Interpol
From Times Wire Reports
Interpol has issued international notices at Pakistan’s request seeking the arrest of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto and her husband, who are wanted in connection with graft cases dating from her tenure in the 1990s, officials said.
Bhutto’s opposition party said it would challenge the move, calling it politically motivated.
She lives in exile in England and the United Arab Emirates. Her husband, former senator Asif Ali Zardari, served eight years in detention over graft cases. They are in the United States on a lecture tour.
