North Carolina Routs Wake Forest

The No. 3 North Carolina women forced 29 turnovers en route to a 91-57 victory over Wake Forest on Friday at Winston-Salem, N.C.

The Tar Heels, off to their best start, rose to 19-0 overall and 4-0 in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Demon Deacons (10-8, 2-4) shot 39.1%.

St. Joseph’s 65, No. 17 Temple 64 -- Hillary Klimowicz made a layup with 3.2 seconds left to lift the Hawks (13-6, 5-3 Atlantic 10) over the Owls (14-5, 5-2), who had trailed by 12, at Philadelphia.

Virginia Tech suspended forward Deron Washington for one game, one day after he appeared to drive his foot into the face of a Duke player while both were lying on the floor....
