Former EA Exec Named Finance Chief at Guess

Guess Inc., the jeans maker whose shares have more than doubled during the last year, named former Electronic Arts Inc. executive Dennis Secor as chief financial officer, ending a four-month search.
Secor, 43, has served as chief financial officer of Electronic Arts’ Canadian division since 2004, Los Angeles-based Guess said. He also worked in Europe for Polaroid Corp. before joining Electronic Arts and was selected to help Guess expand internationally, the company said.
Secor replaces Frederick Silny, who left in May. Guess said in February that Silny was leaving to pursue other opportunities.
