UC Senate Chairman Faces Removal Vote

Faculty leaders at the University of California are scheduled to vote today on whether to remove their top representative over concerns about his leadership abilities and treatment of staff members.
The assembly of UC’s Academic Senate, which includes faculty members from across the 10-campus system, will meet to consider ousting the group’s chairman, UCLA biology professor Clifford Brunk. The Senate helps determine academic policies and admissions.
