Copter Carrying Allied Personnel Crashes

A CH-47 Chinook helicopter with 10 U.S.-led coalition personnel aboard crashed during combat operations in Afghanistan’s Kunar province, a U.S. military spokeswoman said.
The military would not immediately release the nationalities or the conditions of those on the craft. The crash was not caused by enemy fire, Lt. Tamara D. Lawrence said.
