Holocaust cartoon winner is named

Abdellah Derkaoui of Morocco won Iran’s International Holocaust Cartoon Contest, which had sparked outrage in Israel and the West.
The newspaper Hamshahri launched the competition in February after last year’s publication of caricatures of the prophet Muhammad in European newspapers.
Organizers said more than 1,000 drawings had been received from 62 countries. More than 200 were on display. Several seemed to ridicule the U.S.
