Small quake rattles San Benito County

A light earthquake shook parts of San Benito County on Wednesday but did not cause injury or damage, authorities said.
The magnitude-4.0 temblor struck at 1:20 p.m. about three miles west of Hollister and 40 miles southeast of San Jose, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The San Benito County Sheriff’s Department did not immediately receive any calls reporting damage or injuries related to the quake, said sheriff’s clerk Lupe Derosa.
