Second escapee from youth camp is arrested
The second of four youths who escaped from a low-level detention camp in Orange County’s Cleveland National Forest has been captured, authorities said Monday.
Roberto Calvo, 16, of Anaheim was arrested late Saturday in the 700 block of South Townsend Street by officers who recognized him, a Santa Ana police spokesman said.
Calvo escaped March 18 with three other youths from the Los Pinos Conservation Camp. Anthony Soto, 17, of Los Angeles was arrested March 23; Rigoberto Rodriguez, 16, of Anaheim and Eric Garcia, 16, of San Clemente remain at large.
Calvo has been charged with escape and sale of a controlled substance, a police spokesman said.
