Death at Rhames’ home unresolved
Authorities said Wednesday that they still do not know exactly what killed the man who died last week at actor Ving Rhames’ Brentwood home after being attacked by dogs.
Jacob Adams, 40, who cared for Rhames’ dogs about two years, was found Saturday on the front lawn of the actor’s home.
At the time, officials said it was unclear whether Adams died of wounds sustained during the attack or if he had a heart attack or other medical condition that caused his death.
Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County coroner’s office said that after an initial autopsy, Adams’ body would be examined further to determine cause of death.
He said this could take eight to 10 weeks.
