* Philadelphia 1, at Florida 0: Derian Hatcher scored midway through the third period and Antero Niittymaki stopped 38 shots, helping the Flyers to their third consecutive victory. It was the third career shutout for Niittymaki.
* at N.Y. Rangers 4, Montreal 3 (OT): Brendan Shanahan scored early in overtime to give the Rangers the victory and extend their winning streak to three games. Chris Drury, who assisted on Shanahan’s winner, scored a goal.
* at Vancouver 2, Ducks 1: Daniel Sedin and Matt Cooke each scored, and the Canucks beat the Ducks, who lost two of three in Canada.
* Kings 3, at Chicago 2 (OT): Dustin Brown scored his second goal of the game in overtime to give the Kings their second straight win.
