Weekley shares lead in Mexico
Boo Weekley followed his opening six-under-par 64 -- the best round of his PGA Tour career -- with a 67 on Friday to move him into a three-way tie for first place midway through the Mayakoba Classic at Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
Fred Funk, the first-round leader after a 62, had a 69 to match Weekley and Cameron Beckman (67) at nine-under 131.
Jose Coceres (65), Bill Haas (66) and Brian Gay (67) were one shot back. Peter Lonard (68), Ryan Armour (65) and John Merrick (69) were seven under, followed by a large group at six under that included Bob Tway and Fabrizio Zanotti, both of whom shot 63s.
Brent Geiberger had the best round of the day, an eight-under 62, moving him into contention at five under.

Stacy Prammanasudh shot a four-under 68 to take a one-stroke lead in the suspended second round of the LPGA’s Fields Open at Kapolei, Hawaii.
Prammanasudh was at 10-under 134 and was being chased by a pack of youngsters, including 18-year-olds Angela Park and Morgan Pressel.
Park was at nine under with nine holes left when play was halted because of darkness after a three-hour rain delay. Also at nine under was 21-year-old Jee Young Lee, who had four holes left. Pressel shot a 65 and was at eight under.

Bobby Wadkins shot an eight-under 64 to take a one-stroke lead over Mark O’Meara, Allen Doyle and Gil Morgan after the first round of the ACE Group Classic at Naples, Fla.
