13 captives freed in oil-rich region
From Times Wire Reports
Kidnappers in Nigeria’s restive oil heartland released 13 captives, including three Americans, officials said.
Those freed are the latest of about 200 foreigners, mostly oil workers, who have been abducted in a year and a half in the southern region where Africa’s biggest oil producer pumps its crude.
Nearly two dozen are known to still be in captivity.
