State workers’ info on stolen device

A data storage device with Social Security numbers and other information on all 64,000 state employees was stolen from a state intern’s car last weekend, Gov. Ted Strickland said in Columbus.
He said special equipment is needed to access the information on the device, so he didn’t believe the workers’ privacy was in jeopardy.
