The troops need us
Re “Walter Reed chief fired over troop treatment,” March 2
There’s plenty of money for secret prisons, databases and wiretaps and for no-bid contracts to friends of the White House. But when it comes to protecting our troops with appropriate armor or caring for them when they are injured, we suddenly don’t have adequate funds. How long do we let this continue, and who is going to stop it?
