From Times Staff Reports
Two Texas men who died after the driver lost control of their truck on the eastbound 60 Freeway were identified Thursday.
David Alonso Jaramillo, 24, of El Paso, was driving about 60 mph when his pickup drifted into the dirt median about 2 a.m. Wednesday, said Jaci Parent, a spokeswoman for the California Highway Patrol.
Jaramillo overcorrected, veered off the road and hit a tree, killing himself and passenger Oliver Estrada, 22, of Houston, Parent said.
