* Arizona 5, at Philadelphia 4: Doug Davis pitched eight sharp innings, Conor Jackson drove in four runs and the Diamondbacks won their fifth in a row.
* Florida 5, at Chicago 3: Byung-Hyun Kim pitched six scoreless innings for the Marlins, who bounced back after getting swept by the New York Mets over the weekend.
* at Colorado 6, St. Louis 2: At Denver, Jeff Francis gave up five hits in 7 2/3 innings, Brad Hawpe hit a two-run homer and the Rockies won their sixth in a row.
* at Cincinnati 4, Pittsburgh 0: Kyle Lohse pitched a six-hit shutout for the Reds. During the win, Reds center fielder Ryan Freel was taken off the field on a stretcher after colliding with a teammate. Tests on his head and neck came back normal.
* Atlanta 2, at Milwaukee 1: Chuck James tied a career high with eight strikeouts in the victory.
