A FREEBIE IN NEWPORT
Your one-page coverage of Newport Beach [Go, Nov. 1] was very good and pointed out some choice items to do and places to go. And yes, the area is extremely pricey when you stop and think that Mr. Bad Boy, a.k.a. Dennis Rodman, used to live here.
I have been here for 10 years and still buy my 89-cent coffee from Circle K each day while admiring the multimillion-dollar beachfront homes.
One item, however, can be enjoyed by all without regard to a monetary portfolio: the gorgeous sunsets we have.
