Iraq crash: A roundup of developments in Iraq in Wednesday’s Section A reported that two U.S. soldiers were killed and 12 injured in the crash of a U.S. helicopter near Baghdad the day before. In fact, the helicopter was a British craft, and two Britons were killed and two injured in the incident. The article also said that, as a result of that incident, the number of American troops that had been killed in Iraq since March 2003 rose to 3,875. At the time, the correct figure was 3,873.
