Football rankings: A chart in Sunday’s Sports section listing the No. 1- and No. 2-ranked teams that lost on the same day said Alabama was ranked No. 2 when it lost to Georgia Tech on Oct. 8, 1977. It was Oklahoma, which lost to No. 5 Texas, 60-13.
