Florida 4, at Washington 3: Mark Hendrickson (2-1) pitched seven strong innings for the Marlins, who have won five of six games to improve to 6-3. Hendrickson (2-1) gave up one run and three hits. He struck out two. It was the Marlins’ first three-game road sweep of the Nationals. Washington has lost seven in a row after a 3-0 start.
Chicago 7, at Pittsburgh 3: Geovany Soto and Mike Fontenot hit two-run homers in a five-run sixth inning and the Cubs finished a three-game sweep of the Pirates. Jon Lieber (2-1) got the decision.
at New York Mets 4, Philadelphia 3 (12 innings): Jose Reyes scored the winning run with a deft slide at the plate on Angel Pagan’s 12th-inning single. New York took the last two of a three-game series after losing nine in a row to the Phillies.
Cincinnati 4, at Milwaukee 1: Aaron Harang (1-1) held the Brewers to one run in eight innings, Edwin Encarnacion hit a two-run homer and Francisco Cordero earned a save against his former team.
at San Francisco 5, St. Louis 1: Kevin Correia carried a shutout into the eighth inning in one of his best starts yet, leading the Giants to their third straight victory.
Atlanta at Colorado, ppd.: The game was postponed because of snow and will be made up June 16.
