From Times Wire Reports
State officials say Alamosa’s tap water is safe to drink after they used chlorine to remove salmonella contamination.
At least 107 cases of salmonella were confirmed since the contamination surfaced on March 7.
Sixteen people required hospitalization.
Officials said they still did not know how salmonella got into the water supply.
