A half-price stay -- and free gas
More than 400 hotels are participating in Expedia’s half-off-the-rack-rate sale. Also included is a free gas card ($25, $50 or $75) when you book a minimum two-night stay.
Deal: In searching for the sale, I found this deal in San Francisco: half off the Radisson Hotel Fisherman’s Wharf for a four-night stay. When I tried the dates Aug. 27 to 31, the rates dropped to $100 midweek and only $115 a night on the weekend, before taxes. Book by Sept. 2 for travel until Sept. 30. Follow the instructions on your booking confirmation page to get the free fuel.
