Owner of stripper business is shot
The owner of a stripper business that made headlines after an infamous high school party in upscale Westchester County was shot as he escorted strippers to a bachelor bash.
Sleepy Hollow police say Anthony “Cousin Vinny” Agnello was shot in the thigh during an attempted robbery Friday night. Agnello says two men tried to steal more than $100,000 worth of jewelry but fled empty-handed. Agnello has been treated at an area hospital. No arrests have been made.
Agnello’s business, World Famous Cousin Vinny’s Gorgeous Strippers in Tarrytown, supplied strippers for a 2001 high school football team party in Chappaqua. The parents who hosted the party pleaded guilty to child endangerment and were sentenced to 100 hours of community service. Agnello wasn’t charged.
