Records: Kings 14-15-6, Coyotes 17-14-5.

Record vs. Coyotes: 0-2.

Update: The Kings lost in their first visit to Phoenix this season, a 4-2 defeat Dec. 2 in which they couldn’t hold a 2-1 lead in the third period. The two teams will finish a home-and-home sequence tonight. The Kings have played on consecutive nights seven times this season and have yet to sweep any of those. On four occasions they’ve lost both games. The Coyotes have one of the best home records in the Western Conference at 11-4-2 and have outscored opponents at home, 49-35.
