Three survive small-plane crash
All three people aboard a twin-engine plane that crashed Friday night near California Highway 126 and Powell Road survived and were able to walk away from the wreckage, authorities said.
After departing from Camarillo Airport at 7 p.m., the aircraft experienced engine trouble and crashed in an orchard at 8:25 p.m., said Ian Gregor, a Federal Aviation Administration spokesman. The pilot and two passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, Gregor said.
