Man arrested in death of teen boy
Police arrested a 23-year-old man in the stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy at a commercial strip parking lot Saturday night after a fight believed to be gang-related.
Scott Santana of Costa Mesa was taken into custody at his home Sunday after an investigation by Costa Mesa police, Sgt. Ed Everett said.
The victim, who may have been a member of a rival gang, had been taken to an area hospital for treatment but died early Sunday, Everett said.
