Boy, 2, dies inside closed vehicle
A 2-year-old boy died Monday after being left for several hours in a car with closed windows. Authorities are investigating his death as a possible homicide, officials said.
Homicide detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department were interviewing possible suspects at a home in the 20300 block of High Point Place near where the car was parked, authorities said.
The child, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
